Just got back from a weekend trip to Berlin. It’s a fantastic city – I was there two years ago and couldn’t wait to get back. The sun was shining and it was baking hot (28 degrees). Lovely, especially for May in Europe.
I got to Pariser Platz (the huge square by the Brandenburg Gate) and bumped into Darth Vader. Random but funny. I thought I’d share the picture with you all.
Oh my word. You said to expect the unexpected when I visit your blog — and I keep waiting to see something I expect (though I don’t know what that is), and then I visit today and see this!

We love Star Wars…. I remember watching it as a child. It seemed better then though…. I thought it was real.

I remember visiting Berlin some time ago and really loved it… some of the places were just amazing.. i’ve been to Hamburg, Hannover, Bremen, Frankfurt and many other places too…
Last year I did a little Europe Road Trip. Visited lots of places in Germany. We love Munich! It’s a grate city. Worth a look.
